The Antique Japanese Katana Tegai NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon Sword is a unique and precious item of value, representing the rich history and skilled craftsmanship of the Tegai school during the Kamakura period. This ancient katana is attributed to the Tegai school of the Yamato tradition, known for supplying swords to temples and playing a vital role in defending and arming religious establishments in Yamato province.
