Katana from the Late Muromachi Period – Attributed to Taira Takada
This katana features a shinogi-zukuri shape with a toori-zori curvature, a small ko-kissaki point and an iori mune roof-shaped back. The nakago (silk) has a rounded end iriyama gata nakagojiri. The hamon (temper line) is in undulating gunome midare pattern, showcasing the superior quality and aesthetic appeal of the blade.
